HOW TO REGISTER

Online: Click the orange "Register Online Now" button above to visit our Online Registration Center and register online. Online registration is easy, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is the most popular registration option.
1. Create an account for an adult first to establish your family account, then add children to your family account.
2. Register for camp by selecting one or both session options and adding them to your cart.
3. If you're interested in the after-camp extended care, that's a seperate activity that you must add to your shopping cart as well.
4. Payment by all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover) is available online.
5. A payment plan is available online at no extra charge that will break up payments into 3 installments, charged to your card automatically on the due dates.

By Phone: Call our Student Services Desk at (312) 369-3100 during regular office hours to speak with a Student Services Specialist to register and pay via credit card by phone. Registrations are accepted from 10:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Saturday.

In Person: Stop by our Student Services Desk on the 1st floor of the Sherwood building, 1312 S. Michigan Ave., anytime during regular office hours to speak with a staff member to register and pay in person. Payment by credit card, check, and cash (exact change only) is accepted for in-person registrations.

REGISTRATION FAQ

Why is Session 1 slightly cheaper than Session 2?

Session 1 is two days shorter than session 2 due to the college being closed on July 3 & 4 for the Independence Day holiday. The price is pro-rated to reflect this difference in length.

Are there any discounts available?

We offer a $200 discount to campers who register for both session 1 and session 2. Registration for both sessions must occur at the same time and on the same receipt in order for the discount to be applied.

When can I register?

Registration for the 2017 Summer Arts and Media Camp opens Monday, December 12, 2016. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, and registration will close when the camp session is full, or one week before the start of each session, whichever comes first.

How much do I have to pay when I register?

A $500 deposit is required per camper, per session, at the time of registration. You may also opt to pay in full at the time of registration if you prefer. If you do not pay in full, we require a credit or debit card be kept on file which we will charge automatically on future payment due dates.

How and when do I pay the remaining balance?

We will automatically charge your credit or debit card for 50% of the balance due on April 1, 2017, then again on June 1, 2017 for the remaining 50% balance. 

What if I register after the final payment due date of June 1, 2017?

Regsitrations that come in after the final due date of June 1, 2017 will require payment in full at the time of registration.

What about refunds?

A full refund of all funds paid, minus a $50 withdrawal fee, will be granted for all cancellations requested before Feb. 1, 2017. Cancellation requests made after Feb. 1, 2017, but before April 1, 2017, will forfeit the $500 deposit, but will not be obligated to pay the remaining balance. Cancellation requests made afer April 1, 2017 will not be honored, and the full tuition due will still be required.

What happens if registration fills up?

You may opt to place your child on a waiting list via our registration system in the event that registration is full. If a student withdraws from the camp, the next person on the waiting list will be notified and given the opportunity to register.

How do I enroll my child in after-camp extended care?

There is a seperate activity option on our online registration site for after-camp care, one for each session. After you register your child for your camp session(s), simply add the additional after-camp care activity option to your shopping cart. If you are registering by phone or in person, just let the Student Services Specialist know that you need to add the after-camp extended care option.

Do you offer financial aid?

Yes! Please download and read the following two documents to understand and apply for financial aid. We ask that financial aid applications for the Summer Arts and Media Camp be submitted by March 15, 2017 in order to be processed in time before the April 1 payment date, however late applications will be accepted and reviewed up to the week prior to the start of the camp.
